# Session RPM Calculator

What a measured session-depth lift is worth on your own inventory, from the +4% steady state to the +19% launch quarter.

**Free tool**

## What would deeper sessions earn you?

Your traffic, your RPM, the measured lift range. Runs in your browser; nothing you type is stored or sent.

Interactive tool. It takes monthly pageviews, monthly sessions, blended RPM, average session duration and your ad refresh policy, and returns the additional pageviews, ad impressions and ad revenue a measured pages-per-session lift would produce on that inventory. The arithmetic runs in the browser; nothing entered is transmitted or stored.

| Scenario | Pages-per-session lift | Measured on |
 | --- | --- | --- |
 | Steady state | +4.0% | Horse & Rider run rate, May to July 2026 |
 | Second title, run rate | +6.9% | Equus Magazine, May to July 2026 |
 | Rollout average | +14.9% | Both enabled titles, December 2025 to May 2026 |
 | Launch quarter | +19.1% | Horse & Rider first quarter, December 2025 to March 2026 |

Added reading time is modelled at 30 seconds per served article, from per-article timers. It is deliberately not a percentage lift on a publisher's own session-duration metric, because unload-based duration undercounts continuous-scroll reading and typically falls after enablement while measured reading rises.

## Where the lift figures come from

Published with methodology, windows and comparison groups in the case-study series.

## The measured range behind the bars

Distinct pages per session on live deployments, against a 20-week pre-launch baseline and unenabled comparison titles.

| Scenario | Lift | Comparison | Window |
 | --- | --- | --- | --- |
 | Steady state | +4.0% | -0.3% | May to Jul 2026 |
 | Second title, run rate | +6.9% | -0.3% | May to Jul 2026 |
 | Rollout average | +14.9% | -0.3% | Dec 2025 to May 2026 |
 | Launch quarter | +19.1% | ~0% | Dec 2025 to Mar 2026 |

- Comparison: The same measure on unenabled titles in the same portfolio, over identical weeks.

We publish no revenue claims: we do not hold customers' revenue data. The calculator is your RPM applied to a measured pages-per-session change, and every marker links to its measurement, including the four-week serving pause that took the metric back to baseline and returned it when serving resumed. One caution on time: your reported session duration will likely fall while real reading rises, because unload-based duration undercounts continuous scroll.
